Gary followed up his recent San Francisco City Senior win with a Scratch Players Senior pelt for the trophy case. He and Pat Tallent of VA along with Jeff Burda of Modesto were the favorites coming in. All made the semi's with host club member, Paul Balatti. .

the Spring. Mayacama is one of the top 80 courses in the
country. The SPSA is a Scratch Players World Am Ranking event as well as a NCGA senior and Golfweek senior point event. The format is stroke play finishing with match play. All match play is during the weekend each year. Field spots reserved for those with distinguishable tournament track records determined primarily as those eligible seniors Scratch Players World Amateur Ranked. The 09 SPSA was very popular among the participants so "getting in" for 12 will be a tough ticket. The 2010 and 2011 SPSA was not held.
